Album #28: Good As I Been To You

 Released November 3, 1992

This album is made up entirely of traditional blues and folk songs, with Bob on vocals, guitar and harmonica. Quite a change from the heavily produced, overpopulated albums that came before.

The criticism for this album essentially boiled down to the fact that there were no original compositions. But these genres and songs were very important to Dylan, and he sings and plays them well. Some of them are kind of long and tedious, but fortunately, only a few.

My favorites are “Hard Times,” “Step It Up And Go,” “Tomorrow Night,” and “Diamond Joe”.
